Maxi Cosi just released their top of the line Convertible Car Seats, the Maxi Cosi Vita Smart and Maxi Cosi Vita Pro.

Both seats are suitable in rearward facing up to 30 months and forward facing to 4 years old.  It has ISOFIX for easy installation, GCELL for side impact protection and Air-Protect head support protection.  The fabric on these car seat are made from “Cool Baby” bamboo wicking fabric and  3D mesh for additional pressure support and airflow.

There are different fabric trim choices between the Vita Smart and Vita Pro models.  The main difference between the Vita models are the adjustable chin support that is available in the Vita Pro model only.  These chin support feature is located in the head support which is can be adjusted to help your child's head to be in a more comfortable position if they fall asleep.


The Maxi Cosi Vita Pro is made up of the best safety technologies available to this company.  The GCELL and Cool Wicking Bamboo fabric was first introduced in the Euro models.  The Cool Wickering Bamboo fabric was improved in the Moda models along with an improved head support and better protections to the vehicles seat.  To finish the Vita Pro, the chin support was taken from the Luna series booster seat and the frame for the Vita appears like the one used on the popular Safety 1st Summit.  This is an very clever use of all the best technologies to make the best convertible car seat in the newborn to 4 years category.
